A photographic moment depends on what happens just before and after the shutter is released. Study the visible gesture, the separation between forms and the small details that make the frame feel resolved.
Review a short sequence
Compare neighbouring frames of the same scene. Note how a head turn, a hand position or a gap between people changes the picture. The strongest frame is often the one with the clearest relationship rather than the most activity.
For practice, observe a repeatable everyday action from one position. Make a considered selection afterwards and explain the timing choice in a single sentence.
