Time-lapse photography condenses a sequence of still frames into a view of change. A stable camera position and a subject that changes over time give the technique its structure.
Plan the interval around the movement
Slow changes such as shifting shadows need a different interval from faster activity. Make a short trial before committing to a long sequence. Consider total duration, the number of frames and the final playback length together.
Keep exposure and colour consistent when the scene allows it, secure the camera and check power and storage. Review the trial for unwanted flicker or movement before extending the session.
